What is Graphene?

A graphene is a form of carbon atom arranged in a honey-comb shaped lattice. It is a semi-metal actually. Single layer Graphene was first explored in 1947 by P.R. Wallace. Graphene was actually created by mechanical exfoliation of graphite.
